Before the visit, leave the trails alone for a day or two so the crew can see where they run. Try not to spray supermarket products on the trails, because that splits the colony and spreads the problem. Keep food sealed and wipe up sugary spills. Once baits are down, you may see more ants for a short time as they feed, which is normal. Most trails die down within a week or two.
